OFFICE + RETROFIT è una collezione di mobili, nata da un intervento di recupero sviluppato in collaborazione con l’ Azienda Manerba, per riutilizzare le giacenze degli arredi da ufficio presenti nei loro magazzini: ripensare ad una nuova funzionalità e reinterpretare i prodotti a livello estetico e formale. L’idea progettuale nasce dall’equilibrio tra 2 diversi obiettivi: da un lato intervenire in forte contrasto con l’immagine impersonale, rigorosa e istituzionale, che lo standard degli arredi da ufficio spesso prevede, e dall’altro rendere l’operazione accessibile dal punto di vista della produzione seriale / OFFICE + RETROFIT is a collection of furniture, created by a recovery intervention developed in collaboration with the Office furniture Company Manerba to reuse their stock of old office furniture: to rethink a new feature and an aesthetic and formal reinterpretation of the products. The project idea is the balance between two different objectives: the first is to create a strong contrast with the traditional image of impersonal, institutional and rigorous offices, and the other is to make the serial production easy and cheap.
